It has been a few days since my last update…so here im back…me together with my law school students visited courts complex last wednesday…so feel free to view the pictures…
First of all, the new Courts Complex is located at Jalan Duta. It consists only Magistrates’ Courts, Session Courts, Criminal & Civil High Courts. Meanwhile, the Court of Appeal and Federal Court are located at Putrajaya and it’s known as Palace of Justice.
This house has 5 levels and each level has different type of courts. It’s a fantastic building and I believe it may cost hundred million to build this house. We went there by bus and visitors were allowed to take pictures anywhere except inside the court and inside police lock-up. We also visited to police lock-up and it was a privileged for us. As matter of fact, this lock-up has air conditioner and the only one that provided this facility in Malaysia. Mostly the accused come from Sungai Buloh and Kajang prison. For an example Tan Sri, datuk until ordinary persons have brought to this lock-up.
